You forgot to add a line for people using antennas. Between Buffalo, Rochester, and Toronto we receive 30-plus channels.. I use a Windows Media Center PC and can DVR 4-channels at a time if need be. We do use the internet for programming as well.

We have an antenna on the roof that works for what we need. No cable/satellite...We did have to buy a converter box when everything went digital but we get enough channels. Can't see paying for cable/satellite to get a million channels with nothing worthwhile to watch anyway. No desire for Internet TV either.
