I had a thought....why
I had a thought....why couldnt the welfare recipients and the incarcerated individuals of leroy , be out doing things like this...some individuals would be contributing to society and at the same time, some individuals would be paying there debt to society....just a thought that makes perfect sense to a guy with alot of common sense...
Which means hiring people to
Which means hiring people to supervise them to keep them on task, and then supervisors to push the paperwork and supervise the supervisors, and then a state agency to ensure each program is run to state standards.

The high school students were
The high school students were getting volunteer hours that are needed for graduation and the middle school students who participated had a great time. All were happy to be there and contribute to the beautification of Main Street. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time, labor, and/or supplies!
I do agree with Steve on
I do agree with Steve on asking welfare recipients to put in time cleaning up a Main St..Just like these fine students are doing...They can help out also...We spend millions in this county on welfare..some of those are able to do some kind of work.....Just like those who donate their time to Habitat for Humanity and other worth wild causes...
Great job to those who participated in this clean up effort.
Although I wasn't available
