I'm pretty sure there's been a ban on murder for centuries. How's that working? ● In the U.S, in 1937, the Marihuana Tax Act was passed, and prohibited the production of hemp in addition to cannabis. The "production" just went "underground". ● For a hundred years plus, there's been a ban on "illegal" drug use/sales. That's not working. ● (from Wikipedia) " Prohibition in the United States was a nationwide constitutional ban on the production, importation, transportation, and sale of alcoholic beverages from 1920 to 1933." (Please, note the word BAN). How'd that "ban" work? ● Although the word "ban" isn't specifically used, the laws effectually put a "ban" on any types of firearms usage/possession by felons. NOT WORKING! ●
So, pray tell, how is a "ban" on large-capacity magazines, or, so-called "assault weapons", affect anyone EXCEPT law-abiding citizens? "BAD PEOPLE" could care less about something being banned.
I'd support any solution
I'd support any solution other then ignoring the issue and praying that it will go away.
