Batavia Players Inc. presents "The Lion in Winter" by James Goldman, Friday and Saturday, May 15th and 16th, 7:30 PM, Batavia Middle School Auditorium.  Directed by E. Jane Burk, the play is a humorous portrayal of Christmas in 1183 at King Henry II's chateau in Chinon, Anjou (England); where he entertains his wife, Eleanor of Aquitaine; his three sons: Prince Richard (the Lionheart); Prince Geoffrey (Duke of Brittany) and Prince John; his adversary, King Phillip II of France and Phillip's sister, Alais (Henry II's mistress) for the holidays.  Join Kevan Partridge as King Henry II, Lynda Hodgins as Eleanor of Aquitaine, Jesse Conklin as Prince Richard, Anthony Giambrone as Prince Geoffrey, James Earl as Prince John, Rachel Oshlag as Princess Alais and Jared Morgan as young King Phillip II of France.  Tickets ($10 - general admission and $8 - students and seniors) on sale at GoArt and Roxy's Music Store, starting April 27th.  For more details, find us on the web  www.bataviaplayers.org.
