Crossroads House “One Month of Care” campaign and Musical Memories Concert Event

September 5, 2009 kicks off Crossroads House “One Month of Care” campaign to raise $16,500.00, enough money to provide one month of care for our terminally ill resident s at Crossroads House. Crossroads House is a non-for-profit comfort care home located at 11 Liberty Street that serves dying residents of Genesee, Wyoming and surrounding counties at no cost to the individual or the families. Crossroads House relies solely on the generosity of the community to continue our unique mission.  The culmination of the “One Month of Care” campaign will be the Musical Memories Concert on September 26, 2009 at 7pm at City Church.  This year’s concert will feature local music talent and a special guest with Batavia roots. Performing that evening is the Greece Jazz Band, Ghost Riders Drum & Bugle Corps, Prime Time Brass, Father Kelly’s Boys, Da Line and Mighty St. Joe’s Alumni Drum & Bugle Corps.  A special guest, prestigious Jazz Artist Vic Cionetti, a Batavia native, now residing in Denver Colorado will also be performing.

This musical event is to honor our loved ones both past and present. Anyone wishing to memorialize their loved one can purchase a space (that would include a photo and/or sentiments) in the Memorial Program Booklet.  Your loved one’s picture will also be seen during the power point presentation during the performance.  Anyone interested may purchase a full, half or quarter page memorial ad. Prices range from $25.00 to $100.00. For more information, please contact Frank Panepento at 585-409-4364 or call Crossroads House.

Tickets are available now for the Musical Memories Event and are $5.00 each and can be purchased at Roxy’s Music Store, Millennium Computers, Valle Jewelers and Crossroads House. 100% of the proceeds go to making our “One Month of Care” campaign a reality.
