The Batavia Girls Tennis Team improved to 4-2 on the year with a decisive win over Webster Thomas 5-2 on Friday afternoon. All three doubles teams posted victories for the first time this season.
Nicole Guilds and Maryssa Peirick led the way at first doubles by defeating Kendall Baller and Jessica Cargis 6-4, 6-1. At second doubles Robin Clemm and Laura Mullen defeated Katie Epner and Jenna Coonens 6-4, 6-3. At third doubles Emma Peirick and Alexis-Jackson Warner defeated Emilie Dawson and Candice McCardle 4-6, 6-0, 6-4.
Continuing to dominate at singles this season are Michelle Richenberg and Lisa Farkinghoff. At second singles Richenberg defeated Brianna Gammons 6-1, 6-4. At third singles Farkinghoff defeated Kellynn Killips 6-2, 6-3.
The teams next match is Monday at Spencerport.
