The clouds yesterday and today have been fantastic. I've really wanted to get out into the countryside and look for interesting things to photograph, such as barns. Unfortunately, my time has been limited. I did manage to drive down Sanders Road in Stafford today and spotted this barn under a great sky and hiding a bit behind a cornfield.

If you look at the roof of this magnificent barn you will see thirty thousand dollars worth of very needed repairs. A 500 million dollar stimulus package for Western New York State Barn Preservation, would not piss me off at all. Nor y'all, I'll bet. "Gobama, Probama, Yo'mama 2012." Make them spend some money where it needs to be spent. It is Socialism at its very best because who likes anti social people? Well, me sometimes, but it's a challenge.
Barns are rapidly
Barns are rapidly disappearing from the American landscape. They are too expensive for many of the owners to repair, especially when they are just sitting idle.
Howard, in Leroy near the railroad tracks there is an old feed mill [or something of that nature]. On the side facing the street is a set of wooden silos. They are EXTREMELY rare. If you are out that way, take a look.
