Bicyclist struck by car near Southside Deli, conscious and alert, taken to UMMC

A bicyclist was hit by a car at Liberty and Ellicott streets. The driver said he came around the corner and did not see the bicycle in time. The victim was taken by ambulance to UMMC and was conscious and alert.
