The National Weather Services advises people to move inside to avoid being struck by lightning.
Winds up to 60 m.p.h. are expected.

i live pretty much the center of batavia and from my view point the storm is not so bad. a couple of moments of hard downpour but i personally think not as bad as the warning

Yeah, I would have to agree Jason. I was driving during the worst part, and it wasn't horribly bad. Definitely impressive lightning though, enough to keep the sky lit for 10 seconds.
