Report of portion of Pontillo's roof has blown off

Batavia Police are responding to a report that part of the roof of Pontillo's has blown off and is currently traveling eastbound on Main Street.
UPDATE: A little while ago, a Batavia Police officer reported the roof portion was recovered and returned to the Pontillo's property.

Not surprising. Not kept up in recent years since Sam Sr. got sick and well, most of us know the rest.
I see Paul's(the family homestead)house is now up for sale.
If someone buys the family homestead, I can only wish that they will cherish it the way Sam Sr. and Betty did.
I really miss the pizza, among other things.

I do hope they don't tear it down and give us another drug store, or gas station...this place is a local legacy!
It is a historical building to many who have lived here all their lives.

For all who miss Pontillos Pizzeria in Batavia its my understanding that it wont be long and we will be enjoying it once again!!!!!! I know I can't wait.
