A manure truck was involved in an accident in the area of 5050 Cacner Road, Bethany, this afternoon.
A utility pole was damaged but there were no injuries.
The road remains closed at this time.

A person has severed several fingers in an accident on Bank Street in the city involving a snowblower. City fire and Mercy medics are responding.
UPDATE 12:41 p.m.: A 26-year-old male with "finger amputation" is being transported to UMMC. City fire is back in service.
A tractor-trailer is reportedly on its side in the area of 5437 Broadway, Bethany.
Wires are down. Fluids are leaking.
The driver is reported trapped in the cab but uninjured.

Pavilion and Alexander requested to shut down eastbound and westbound Route 20.
An accident has knocked down a utility pole on Cockram Road, Byron, west of Byron-Holley Road.
The pole is completely blocking the road.
No injuries are reported.

A car has reportedly gone of the roadway and into the woods in the area of mile marker 393.0 in the eastbound lane of the Thruway.
Unknown injuries.
The location is in the area of Kelsey Road.

UPDATE 9:07 a.m.: No injuries. No damage to vehicle. Town assignment back in service.
A motor-vehicle accident with possible serious injuries is reported in the area of 11128 Alexander Road, Alexander.
The location is near Stroh Road.
Mercy Flight out of Buffalo is being put on in-air standby.

UPDATE 12:03 p.m.: One patient, leg and back injury. The other driver out of vehicle and walking. Road is completely blocked.
UPDATE 12:10 p.m.: Injuries not believed to be serious. Mercy Flight can stand down.
UPDATE 12:31 p.m.: Alexander 10 is transporting one patient to UMMC.
UPDATE 1:15 p.m.: The patient is an 18-year-old female driver who was seat-belted and complained of left and right leg shin pain and back pain.

A car has reportedly rolled over after striking a deer in the area of 653 Bloomingdale Road, Basom.
It's believed injuries are minor.
A chief reports on scene one vehicle on its side in a ditch.

UPDATE 9:21 p.m.: Alabama command reports no injuries at this time.
A tractor-trailer rollover accident is reported in the area of 1074 Lewiston Road, Alabama.
The driver is out and appears uninjured. The road is blocked.
The product the truck is carrying is "all over the road." The product is alcohol.

UPDATE(S) (By Billie) 12:47 p.m.: The semi-truck was caught by a gust of wind and the passenger side wheels went off the roadway. The driver over-corrected, causing the rig to flip on its side. The roof then came off, spilling the cargo of $60,000 worth of liquor and wine. No injuries. More pictures will be posted later.
UPDATE 3:31 p.m.: The roadway is clear. All Alabama units are back in service.
No injuries are reported in an accident in the area of 5588 Ellicott Street Road, Bethany, but extrication is needed.

UPDATE 10:26 a.m.: Manpower needed. The person who needs to be extricated is in a wheelchair. she is not insured. A first responder said it will be difficult to get her out but that she is probably just going to be a sign-off.
An accident involving a tractor-trailer is reported in Pavilion at Route 63 and Route 20
Intitially there was a report of a head injury and Mercy Flight was put on ground standby. A first responder reported only minor injuries.

A motor-vehicle accident with unknown injuries is reported at Route 5 and Asbury Road, Le Roy.
One of the vehicles is a plow truck and the driver of the truck is out and walking around.

UPDATE 10:44 a.m.: Le Roy chief reports Le Roy fire can go back in service. The ambulance can come in non-emergency.
A semi-truck has gone off the road and hit a fire hydrant in front of Darien Lake Theme Park on Route 77, Darien.
The truck jackknifed.
The driver does not appear to be injured. A deputy is on scene.
Darien fire and ambulance requested to the scene.
UPDATE 12:55 p.m.: There is no water leak from the hydrant.
A minor injury accident is reported at Richmond Avenue and Woodrow Road, Batavia.

A rollover accident is reported in the Thruway in the area of mile marker 401.6 in the eastbound lane.
Dispatchers have received several calls on it.
One person is reported to be still in the vehicle.

UPDATE 8:39 a.m.: A vehicle is on its roof on the bridge of the off and on ramp, according to a chief on scene. Traffic is backing up.
UPDATE 8:42 a.m.: The chief believes the driver is out of the vehicle. There is a snowplow pushing it onto the median.
UPDATE 8:46 a.m.: There were two people in the vehicle. They are in a State Police car. One has a complaint of shoulder pain. The other is apparently uninjured.
UPDATE 9:10 a.m.: Pembroke and Indian Falls back in service.
A rollover accident is reported on Route 238 near Bowen Road, Alexander.
No word on injuries.

UPDATE 11:55 p.m.: Minor injuries.
A caller reports finding an overturned snowmobile in a ditch off Lockport Road near Bliss Road in Oakfield.
Oakfield fire and Mercy EMS responding.
UPDATE 10:31 p.m.: Snowmobile driver is conscious and alert.
UPDATE 10:54 p.m.: The driver is not injured but is being transported to UMMC for evaluation.
Press release from the Batavia Police Department:
The Batavia Police Department is investigating a car/pedestrian accident which occurred on West Main Street today.
The accident happened at approximately 2:10 p.m. on the area of Settler's.
The pedestrian was walking eastbound on the sidewalk on the north side of West Main Street. While crossing the street, a black Honda sedan struck the pedestrian and continued westbound on West Main Street.
The driver was described as a white female with curly hair.
The pedestrian is currently being treated at UMMC.

UPDATE 4:14 p.m.: The victim, who had not been transported, has traveled to the Emergency Room at UMMC seeking treatment.
