Tanker truck on its side in front of the Flying J, Pembroke

A tanker truck is on its side, in a ditch, in front of the Flying J on Route 77 in Pembroke.

No injuries are reported. The driver is out and walking around.

No leaks are reported. The tanker is hauling motor oil.

The tanker is leaning against a utility pole. National Grid requested to the scene.

Traffic is not blocked.

Pembroke and Indian Falls fire departments responding. Mercy EMS can go back in service.

UPDATE 11 a.m.: A heavy wrecker is on scene and the plan originally was to use big airbags to help lift the truck so it could be uprighted. But when a DEC officer arrived he ordered that the oil be drained from the truck into another tanker before it is lifted out of the ditch. A trooper on scene would not provide information on the accident. We are attempting to get more information about the cause. One northbound lane is closed while crews work on removing the truck. The tanker contains 6,500 gallons of motor oil. The trucking company is from Limerock, Pa., though the truck has Ohio plates and the trailer has Idaho plates.

Car vs. pole accident on Lake Street Road in Le Roy

A car vs. pole accident is reported in Le Roy at 8611 Lake Street Road,just north of the village. There are said to be no injuries but the pole amd wires are down. Le Roy fire and ambulance are responding.

UPDATE 2:20 p.m.: Le Roy Fire Police are asked to shut down southbound traffic on Route 19 at Randall Road.

Accident reported in area of Route 19 and West Bergen

A traffic accident is reported the area of Lake Street Road and West Bergen Road with a vehicle accident off the road and an unresponsive male in the vehicle.

The caller is a passerby who could not identify the location precisely and dispatchers could not plot his phone location.

Le Roy fire and Le Roy ambulance responding.

UPDATE 10:06 a.m.: A vehicle has been located on Route 19 just north of Orcon and the driver reports no injuries. A trooper on scene also reports the driver is fine. Le Roy police and Le Roy fire continuing to check the area just in case but the pickup truck located matches the description. Le Roy is holding its equipment in quarters.

UPDATE 10:11 a.m.: Le Roy back in service. Le Roy ambulance back in service.

Person struck by forklift in Elba

A person has been struck by a forklift at a location on Transit Road in Elba.

The victim is having trouble breathing.

Elba fire and Mercy EMS responding.

Mercy Flight is unavailable due to weather.

UPDATE 9:44 a.m.: Elba fire is back in service.

UPDATE: The patient was transported by ground ambulance to Strong, according to the Sheriff's Office. There is no further information available at this time.

Four-vehicle accident reported on the Thruway in Batavia

A four-vehicle accident, unknown injuries, is reported in the area of mile marker 397.8 in the eastbound lane of the Thruway.

UPDATE 6:07 p.m.: A second ambulance requested to the scene, non-emergency.

UPDATE 6:12 p.m.: The East Pembroke chief is requesting Pembroke fire to shut down the Thruway, eastbound, at the Pembroke exit. "It would probably be better for them to get off in Pembroke and back on in Batavia," he said. He said traffic is already backed up to Route 77.

Minor injury accident reported near Route 20, Bethany

A rollover accident with a minor injury is reported on Silver Road, just south of Route 20, in Bethany.

A Bethany chief on scene reports the driver is out of the vehicle. Traffic is not blocked.

Injury accident reported on Route 20, Pavlion

A vehicle is off the road at Route 20 and South Street Road, Pavilion, and injuries are reported.

Mercy Flight is requested to the scene.

UPDATE 8:07 a.m.: Le Roy also responded and is now back in service.

UPDATE 8:10 a.m.: Roadway is open. Pavilion is back in service.

Person pinned in vehicle after accident on Clinton Street Road, Stafford

A one-car accident is reported in the area of 5544 Clinton Street Road, just east of the CSX overpass, in Stafford, with a possible back injury.

The car was in a ditch and the driver was unable to open the doors but a chief who just arrived on scene said the patient has been extricated.

Stafford Fire dispatched along with Mercy EMS.

National Grid requested to the scene for a damaged utility pole

Accident reported at Route 33 and Donahue Road, Batavia

A motor-vehicle accident with three minor injuries is reported at Route 33 and Donahue Road, Batavia. Town of Batavia Fire Department and Mercy medics are responding.

A second ambulance is called in. The roadway is blocked; traffic control is needed.

Driver unresponsive after vehicle strikes tree off Route 77 in Darien

A driver is unresponsive after his or her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree off Route 77 in Darien. Mercy Flight is on standby. The accident location is 9610 Alleghany Road between Ganson Avenue and McGregor Road. Darien Fire Department and Mercy medics are responding.

UPDATE 3:56 p.m.: The driver is a 25-year-old male who lives in Corfu. He told Sheriff's deputies at the scene that he fell asleep at the wheel. His truck left the roadway, hit a drainage ditch and went airborne before coming to a stop 50 yards away after striking a tree. He was taken by ground ambulance to ECMC with non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators determined that no alcohol or drugs were involved in the accident, said Sgt. Jason Saile.

Car crashes into barn on Swamp Road, serious injuries reported

A car has crashed into a barn and serious injuries are reported at 6857 Swamp Road in Byron. Byron Fire Department is responding along with Mercy medics. The location is west of Hessenthaler Road.

UPDATE 2:55 p.m.: The female driver is conscious and alert and has a broken leg.

Car reportedly hits tree on Batavia Elba Townline Road

A car has reportedly hit a tree in the area of 5103 Batavia Elba Townline Road, Elba.

The caller reports the driver to be semi-alert.

Elba fire and Mercy EMS dispatched.

UPDATE 12:27 a.m.: Patient unconscious. Checking on the availability of Mercy Flight. All available manpower to the scene.

UPDATE 12:32 a.m.: Mercy Flight requested to the scene.

UPDATE 1:22 a.m.: The patient was just extricated from the vehicle.

UPDATE 1:36 a.m.: Mercy Flight is airborne and headed to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

UPDATE 2:36 a.m.: The female driver suffered a serious leg injury. The accident was discovered by a driver passing by. None of the residents on that stretch of Batavia Elba Townline Road heard the accident. The time of the accident is unknown and it's hard to say how long after the accident it took for somebody to come across it. The driver was sedated so she couldn't be interviewed so deputies at this point do not know how the accident occurred.

Possible injuries. Unknown what it struck.

UPDATE 9:53 p.m.: The driver is attempting to get out. A hydrant is sheared off, not leaking.

UPDATE 9:59 p.m.: Mercy can back it down to non-emergency.
