Benghazi, the Obamacare fiasco, IRS (who will run Obamacare) scandal, more deaths in Afghanistan under O than B, the Dem controlled Senate just passed the first budget in 3 years, and now the DOJ secretly monitoring journalistic practices. It looks to be a very interesting 3 1/2 more years.
Regardless of how one feels about the state of journalism in this country, actions such as these will be the death knell of credibility for what is supposed to be our last link to truth about situations we as average citizens neither have the time nor resources to investigate.
Talk about government gone wild..Safe Act..Patriot Act..taking reporters phone records without their knowledge..IRS Targeting certain groups who want to become a 501c...Changing the report on Bengazi..This is and over reaching paranoid government..Who are they afraid of..Is it us ..
Perhaps Mark it's time for US to flex our collective power that we have all not been using and give them reasons to be afraid. I'd still like to know why Homeland security needs as much ammo as the US Army. Things like that spark a little fear for the future and where we are heading.
It's not hard to figure out, just look at the available quantities and the prices of .38, .357, .41 & 9mm rounds lately cost 3X as much as last year and the amounts available to the public are significantly less.
And it is not just Homeland Security, the IRS has purchased 8000 rds per employee over the past 18 months, the funny thing is less than 5% of IRS employees are authorized to carry fire arms
Several congressman have already indicated that this is back door gun control
Well as long as we are talking about government agencies purchasing ammunition, we can't forget to mention the U.S. Dept. of Education... a couple hundred thousand rounds purchased.
We can all cite a myriad of examples of this administration flipping the constitution the bird - and getting away with it. With his partner in *crime* Eric Holder at the helm of "Justice" and a pantywaist do nothing congress, the various arms of the government will do as they please, when they please, to whom they please for the next 3 1/2 years.
I dread the next election because "We the Sheeple" will bend over and allow all but Obama to remain in office. In spite of her ineptitude as Sec/State Hillary is almost a shoo in and I wouldn't be surprised to see Pelosi get the gavel back, and Reid will remain in power.
Is it too late? Unfortunately, I think we are on the brink of the point of no return - at least to the greatness this nation once enjoyed. Or quite possibly past the point.
On the bright side, all this makes it easier to be old.....
By the end of the next 3.5 years the only thing easier about being old will be getting moved to the front of the "sorry, we refuse to treat you for that illness" queue.
