Family Fun Day & Wiener Dog Races at Batavia Downs

It's Family Fun Day at the Downs!

$1 Hot Dog or Sodas from Noon til 4pm in the Paddock Room.

Bring the entire family out for this special Matinee racing program that begins at 1:15pm. From 2-4pm enjoy Free Pony Rides, Mr Scribbles, and Pringles the Clown!

After the horse races, it's time for the Wiener Dogs!!!

Be sure to come on out for what will be a fun and exciting afternoon for the whole family!

23rd Annual Labor Day 5k race/walk

The Batavia Area Jaycees are proud to announce the 23rd Annual Labor Day 5K Run & Walk on September 7, 2009 at MacArthurPark in Batavia, NY.  This is the proceeds from the event will go to benefit Regional Action Phone, Inc. (RAP). 

 

Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. and the race will begin at 10:00 a.m. The race fee is $12 for runners and $10 for walkers, with the fee going to $15 the day of the race for runners. Trophies and prizes will be given out to the top male & female runners after the race and the first 50 pre-registered participants will receive a free t-shirt. The course is USA Track & field certified.
