Neighborhood Walk

Explore the Richmond Memorial Library area (at 19 Ross St., Batavia) with a “Neighborhood Walk” on Saturday, August 15 at 2:00 pm.  City Historian Larry Barnes will lead this walk for adults; registration is required to participate in this free program.  Group size is limited.  Call the library at 343-9550 ext. 2 to register.

Reverse Painting on Glass

Richmond Memorial Library, 19 Ross St., Batavia presents “Reverse Painting on Glass,” a class for adults taught by Krystyna Stefanik.  Learn how to ink the glass and fill with paint, then add a decorative paper and frame to finish.   A $10.00 fee for supplies is due at the time of registration. Mandala Art Class

Richmond Memorial Library, 19 Ross St., Batavia presents a Mandala Art Class for adults on Wednesday, September 24 at 6:00 pm.  Karen Reisdorf is teaching this program which includes a slide presentation, a meditation time, and art instruction.  Registration is required, and class size is limited.  Call the library at 343-9550 to register.  Participants are asked to bring a (math) compass and high quality colored pencils, if they have them.  www.batavialibrary.org

'Gifts from the Kitchen' adult class at Richmond library

Richmond Memorial Library, 19 Ross St., Batavia presents Author Gina Peca on Tuesday, November 12 at 7:00 p.m.  A Batavia native, Gina will talk about her book “I Wouldn’t Change a Thing,’ about the lessons she learned from her young daughter who embraced life in the face of terminal cancer. The book received a blurb from Harry Potter author J.K. Eating Healthy Away from Home
