Richmond Memorial Library, 19 Ross St., Batavia presents a Fresh Greens Holiday Centerpiece Class for adults on Tuesday, December 2 at 6:30 pm.  Join Kate Riegel to learn how to create a centerpiece with fresh greens, a candle and ornamental picks. Richmond Memorial Library's Christmas Card Class scheduled for Tuesday, November 18 at 6:00 pm has been postponed to Tuesday, December 9 at 6:00 pm due to the weather.  This class for adults is taught by Jenn Cascell, and spots are still available.  Anyone interested in attending may register in the library.  $7.00 is due to cover the cost of materials.  For questions, please call the library at 585-343-9550.

St. Padre Pio Parish is holding their annual Penny Social on Sunday, December 2 at the Elba Fireman's Recreation Hall, Rte. 98, Elba. Doors open at noon, drawings begin at 2 p.m. Hundreds of prizes and baskets, some for only a penny a ticket!.  Refreshments, 50/50 drawing, door prize and $100 money tree give away.

Learn a variety of painting techniques to decorate a Santa Greeting Decoration in a class for adults at Richmond Memorial Library, 19 Ross St., Batavia on Tuesday, December 4 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. This class is being taught by decorative painter Elaine Becker, and registration is required to attend. $10 is due at the time of registration (in the library) and covers the cost of materials.  If you have these brushes, please bring:  1/2” flat or angle shader, dry or stipple brushes, small flat, small filbert, liners, large (1”) flat.
