Caregiving Continues in Long Term Care                                                                        Join Leanne Rorick, Ombudsman Program Coordinator for Genesee, Wyoming and Livingston Counties, for a lively discussion about:      

  • Choosing a nursing home or long-term care setting for your loved one             
  •  Advocating for your loved one in the long-term care setting
  • Resident rights and family/caregiver rights
  • Promoting an environment that respects your loved one’s preferences and schedule
  • How an Ombudsman* can help                                                          *Om•buds•man: (noun) a trained volunteer, an independent advocate for residents of nursing and adult homes, a problem solver, a protector of residents’ rights, a friend.
