A two-car accident with unknown injuries is reported at West Main and Oak streets in the city. Two flatbed tow trucks are called. City fire and Mercy medics are responding. Police are on scene. Fluids are leaking.

UPDATE 11:42 p.m.: City fire is back in service. No one was transported to a hospital; they were "sign offs."

Woman reported injured in ATV accident off Lake Street, Le Roy

A 40-year-old female has possibly suffered head and neck injuries in a 4-wheeler accident in Le Roy behind Bob Adams Automotive, located at 59 Lake St. Le Roy fire and ambulance are dispatched.

UPDATE 9 p.m.: Perhaps the information was inaccurate. Le Roy was put back in service a minute ago and that's all we heard.

Rollover accident reported on Thruway

A one-vehicle rollover accident has been reported on the Thruway in the area of mile marker 386.

Town of Batavia Fire Department and Mercy EMS responding.

UPDATE 6:41 a.m.: Very minor injuries. The location is just east of the Clinton Street Road overpass.

UPDATE 6:44 a.m.: Rescue 20 back in service. Engine 24 to the scene to secure the vehicle.

UPDATE 6:46 a.m.: At the request of the NYS Thruway Authority, Engine 24's response cancelled. Town of Batavia back in service.

Car crash at Maltby and Lewiston, Oakfield

A two-car accident with minor injuries is reported at Maltby and Lewiston roads in Oakfield. Sheriff's deputies are on scene. Oakfield Fire Department and Mercy medics are responding.

Minor injury accident reported at Bank and Main, Batavia

One person is complaining of back pain following a motor-vehicle accident at the intersection of Main and Bank streets, Batavia.

Two-car accident at Transit and Bridge roads, Elba

A two-car accident, believed to be with injuries, is reported at Transit and Bridge roads. Elba Fire Department and Mercy medics are responding.

UPDATE 11:30 a.m.: A responder on scene reports injuries are minor.

UPDATE 11:36 a.m.: A second ambulance is requested to the scene, non-emergency mode.

UPDATE 11:51 a.m.: A third ambulance is called in, also in non-emergency mode.

UPDATE 11:54 a.m.: The address is determined be "right at the intersection" -- 6050 Transit Road.

UPDATE 12:07 p.m.: All Elba units are back in service. The northbound lane will reopen after a tow and third ambulance leave the scene. So far, two patients are being transported to UMMC.

UPDATE 12:12 p.m.: The roadway is reopened. One patient is a 16-year-old female driver who was ambulatory at the scene and is being taken to the hospital for evaluation. The driver of the other car is a 38-year-old woman, who, along with a 4-year-old boy passenger, are being taken to the hospital with minor aches and pains.

Driver involved in accident on Indian Falls Road accused of drinking and driving

A 24-year-old Corfu resident was charged with drunken driving following an accident on Indian Falls Road, Pembroke, this afternoon that sent both himself and the other driver to the hospital.

Timothy D. Largey, of Phelps Road, Corfu, was reportedly on Cleveland Road when he stopped his 2000 Dodge SUV at the intersection of Cleveland and Indian Falls roads.

Largey then allegedly proceeded into the intersection and his car was struck by a 2002 pickup driven by Jeffrey C. McGiveron, 49, of Phelps Road, Basom.

Both drivers were transported to UMMC by Mercy EMS.

Largey was also cited for alleged failure to yield.

The accident was investigated by Sgt. Greg Walker. Deputy Howard Carlson made the DWI arrest.

Car wreck with injury at Indian Falls and Cleveland roads

A two-car accident with one injury is reported at Indian Falls and Cleveland roads. East Pembroke Fire Department and Mercy medics are responding.

UPDATE 5:57 p.m.: The accident is not blocking traffic and the vehicles involved are off the roadway. Law enforcement is en route.

UPDATE 6:23 p.m.: A pair of tow trucks are on scene. One of the vehicles is a commercial vehicle.

UPDATE 6:27 p.m.: A 24-year-old male, with no complaints of pain, is being transported to UMMC. He is backboarded and collared as a precaution.

UPDATE 6:47 p.m.: A 49-year-old male is also being taken to UMMC and is said to have some bruising and seat belt rash.

Motor-vehicle accident near Richley and Simonds roads, Darien

A motor-vehicle accident was reported at 9:45 a.m. in the area of Richley and Simonds roads in Darien. A pickup truck will need to be wenched out. The scene is at a curve at the bottom of a hill. Darien Fire Department and Mercy medics are there. Authorities are handling traffic control.

UPDATE 10:13 a.m.: One lane of traffic is being reopened. A couple of Darien units are leaving, back in service.

UPDATE 10:28 a.m.: A male in his 50s is being taken to UMMC for evaluation and to have his blood drawn because he allegedly had positive results on a breathalyzer test for alcohol at the scene. The accident is described as minor -- vehicle vs. road sign and fence post.

UPDATE 10:39 a.m.: The truck has been towed away. Both lanes of traffic are open. All Darien unites are back in service.

Car hits deer on Thruway, injury reported

A car has hit a deer on the Thruway in the area of mile marker 387.7 in the eastbound lane.

A person is reportedly injured.

The location would put it in the area adjacent the college.

Injury accident in front of McDonald's on West Main, Batavia

A two-car accident with injuries is reported in front of McDonald's, located at 4138 W. Main St., Road. It is partially blocking the roadway. Town of Batavia Fire Department and two ambulances are responding. There are complaints of neck and back pain.

UPDATE 5:51 p.m.: A third ambulance is called to the scene, non-emergency mode.

UPDATE 6:03 p.m.: Two patients are being transported to Strong Memorial Hospital and one is going to UMMC.

UPDATE 6:07 p.m.: The patient being taken to UMMC is a 26-year-old man complaining of wrist pain.

UPDATE 6:09 p.m.: All Town of Batavia units are back in service.

Bicycle accident with injuries on West Main Street

An injury accident involving a bicyclist is reported between Tops Market and Batavia Marine on West Main Street. City of Batavia Fire Department and Mercy medics are responding.

UPDATE 11:11 a.m.: City fire is back in service. The bicyclist is being transported to UMMC.

Vehicle rollover on Old Creek Road, Alexander

A one-vehicle rollover is reported Old Creek Road near Brookville Road. The driver is trapped inside and water from the creek is starting to seep into the vehicle. Alexander Fire Department is responding.

UPDATE 9:10 a.m.: The driver is now out of the vehicle. A medic is needed.

UPDATE 9:30 a.m.: The driver is not injured, but because she is a minor, age 17, she must be transported to the hospital for evaluation. Alexander is back in service. The car is still in the ditch. Law enforcement is on scene. A tow truck is dispatched.

UPDATE 9:38 a.m.: The driver is being taken to UMMC. She is said to have no complaints.

Driver says his foot was stuck on accelerator leading to accident in Oakfield

A driver says his shoe got caught on the gas pedal as he was leaving the M&T Bank in Oakfield at 9:11 a.m., Monday, causing his car to accelerate and strike another vehicle.

The other car was flipped onto its side and the driver suffered minor injuries.

Frank J. Mosco, 85, of Orchard Street, Oakfield, was cited for allegedly failure to yield right-of-way.

Injured was F.A. Burdick, 38, of Byron.

Mosco was driving a 2006 Buick sedan. Burdick was in a 2011 Dodge SUV.

A third car, a 1990 Chevy sedan owned by Michael J. Dulkevich, of Basom, was struck by Burdick's car.

The accident was investigated by Deputy Chris Parker.

Minor injury accident in the Village of Elba

A two-car, minor-injury accident is reported at 14 N. Main St. in the Village of Elba. It is not blocking traffic. One person has an arm injury.

UPDATE 5:14 p.m.: Elba is back in service. Law enforcement is on scene to manage traffic flow. Tow trucks are called in.

Three injured in accident on Harper Road, Darien

Three people were injured at 7:13 p.m., Sunday, when a pickup truck backed into oncoming traffic on Harper Road in Darien.

All three people were taken to Erie County Medical Center by Mercy Flight following the accident.

Shannon C. Bates, 29, of Broadway Road, Darien, reportedly backed a 2003 Dodge pickup onto the roadway in the area of 9796 Harper Road. She was issued a traffic citation.

Paul Dennis Barth Jr., 21, of Cohocton Road, Corfu, was northbound on Harper Road in a 1997 Dodge pickup.

Barth was cited for allegedly speeding.

Bates and Barth, along with a passenger in Bate's truck, Alexander J. Bates, 25, were conscious and alert when flown to ECMC.

The accident was investigated by Deputy Chad Mower.

Assisting at the scene were Darien Fire Department and Mercy EMS.

Rollover accident with possible entrapment in the Village of Oakfield

A rollover accident is reported in the Village of Oakfield in the area of the M&T Bank with possible entrapment.

Oakfield Fire Department and ambulance responding.

UPDATE 9:15 a.m.: The person is out. No entrapment. Mercy EMS response is cancelled.

Accident with injuries at Harper and Richley roads, Darien

A car accident is reported at Harper and Richley roads in Darien. The car is on fire. There is entrapment. Injuries are reported. Mercy Flight is called. The helicopter is now in Buffalo and refueling. Darien Fire Department is responding along with Mercy EMS. The bird will land at the scene. It has a seven-minute ETA. One patient will be transported via Mercy Flight, two others via ambulance.

UPDATE 7:34 p.m.: Mercy Flight has a three-minute ETA and will land in a "wide open field" west of the roadway. Harper Road is shut down.

UPDATE 7:38 p.m.: Mercy Flight is on the ground.

UPDATE 7:47 p.m.: One patient has been transported to Erie County Medical Center.

UPDATE 7:55 p.m.: All patients are being taken to ECMC.

UPDATE 9:31: Darien is just now back in service and the roadway is being reopened.
