Boyce pitched 2 innings, allowing one hit, striking out four and Pietrzykowski went four innings, allowing four hits While striking out seven.
Neither Alexander pitcher surrendered a walk during the contest.
Carley Shepard led Alexander at the plate, going 3-4 with a triple, a double and 2 RBIs. Ava Yax went 2-4 with a homerun in the second inning. Makenna Boyce went 2-3 with a double and 2 RBIs. Melanie Bump and Brianna Neyman both collected 2 hits on the day.
Next up for Alexander is a dual with Notre Dame on Saturday at 1100.
