Gladys M. Kedzierski

Gladys M. Kedzierski, 96 of Batavia and formerly of Oakfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Wednesday (April 15, 2015) at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home.

She was born April 8, 1919 in Oakfield, NY, a daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Placek Balonek.

Gladys was a beautician for most of her life and a greeter at the former Kings Department Store in Batavia prior to her retirement.  She was also a member of St. Padre Pio Parish in Oakfield.

She was predeceased by her husband, Casimer Kedzierski  in 1996 and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include three sons, Eugene (Karen) Kedzierski of North Carolina, Theodore (Judy) Kedzierski of Oakfield and Lee (John Dickerson) Kedzierski of Rochester.  Five  grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

There will be no prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, June 6th at 10:00am at St. Padre Pio Parish, 56 Maple Ave., Oakfield.  Burial will follow in St. Cecelia Cemetery.
