Harry was a 1949 Batavia High School graduate and graduated from Suny Brockport with a degree in Arts & Science. He was proudly dedicated working maintenance for over 40 years at 400 Towers as well as working maintenance at Edward Street Apartments. Harry was proud to have served in the United States Air Force as an Airman 2nd Class and Gun Battalion as well as serving in the United States Army. He was an active member of the American Legion for 48 years. Harry enjoyed bowling, collecting trains, working on and using computers as well as researching his family’s genealogy. What Harry was truly proud of and loved, was reminiscing about his life experiences and sharing his stories with family and friends.
He is survived by his children Tim (Brenda) Kelso Sr. of SC., Vikki (Peter) Mazza of NM., Lindy Koepp of Batavia; brother Jim Boyd of Batavia,7 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior calling hours. An 11:00 AM Funeral Service will be held Monday March 30, 2015 at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc 329-333 West Main Street Batavia, New York 14020. He will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery, Batavia.
