Lois M. Bush

Lois M. Bush, 84, of Silver Springs passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Sunday (February 22, 2015) surrounded by the unwavering love of her family.

Lois devoted her life to her loving husband, Tom, of 60 years and together they raised eight children.   She was employed at the former Agway Petroleum and at Bush Hill Florist. Lois was an active member of St. Isdore’s Catholic Parish (St. Mary’s Church in Silver Springs), where she and Tom volunteered at Friday night bingo.  Lois was also a member of the Perry Chamber of Commerce for many years. 

Lois enjoyed Sunday gatherings with her family.  Lois and Tom celebrated each year by traveling to their favorite vacation spot in Florida.  She enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening.

She will forever be remembered by her family and friends for her generous spirit, warm hugs, unconditional love, and blueberry muffins.

Lois considered her life to be blessed in countless ways including her loving children, Joe Bush of Silver Springs, Sue (Greg) Walton of Bliss, Debbie (Brian) Gross of Castile, Marty (Doug Hammond) Bush of Rochester, Linda J. Bush of Silver Springs, Lori A. Bush of Cape Coral, Florida, Tim (Linda) Bush of Silver Springs, and Tom (Becky) Bush of Perry along with 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas S. Bush, who passed away in 2013 and parents, Gordon and Genevieve (Granger) Woodard. 

Family and friends are invited to call from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at the Eaton-Watson Home, LLC. 98 N. Main St. Perry. Prayers at 10:15am at the funeral home will precede a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Silver Springs.

She will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Silver Springs.
