Dr. Lawrence J. Nacey

Dr. Lawrence J. Nacey, 85 of Rochester and formerly of Batavia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday (October 22, 2014) at St. Ann’s Home in Rochester.
 
He was born in Rochester, NY on September 14, 1929, a son of the late Dr. Lawrence and Elizabeth Lenden Nacey.
 
Dr. Nacey was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy having served his country from 1957-1960.  He was a physician for many years at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Batavia and was a member of the American College of Physicians, Knights of Columbus, Msgr. Kirby Council and  4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Batavia Assembly.
 
Survivors include his loving wife, Joanne (Breiner) Nacey of Webster. Daughter, Ann Marie (Jeffrey) Robinson of Maryland. Son, Michael J. Nacey of Maryland. Daughter in-law, Kimberly Nacey. Grandchildren, Madeline, Elizabeth and Sarah Robinson and Mark Nacey.
 
Family and friends are cordially invited to share memories, condolences and thoughts on Sunday (Oct. 26th) from 3-7pm at the J. LEONARD MCANDREW FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 2 Bogue Ave., Batavia, NY.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, 11:30am at St. Ann’s Chapel, 1500 Portland Ave., Rochester, NY.  Interment with military honors will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
