Jason M. Jewett, 31, of South Byron, passed away on Friday August 30, 2013 due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident inEden. He was born on May 30, 1982, in Batavia, to Joseph F. (Joyce E. Howard) Jewett III of Batavia. Jason was a Federal Agent at the Immigration Customs Enforcement & Deportation facility in Batavia along with being one of 13 instructors for the Special Response Team. He loved his job as an agent. Jason raised Siberian Huskies, was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed doing roofing projects. He was a patriot that loved his country especially the Wounded Warriors Project.

Jason is survived by his parents; brothers Joseph (Arlene) Jewett IV of Attica; Jeffrey Jewett of Basom, sister Jennifer (Ted) Elliott of Attica along with 9 nieces and nephews, one great-niece, one great-nephew, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends are invited to call on Monday September 2, from 7 to 9 PM and on Tuesday September 3, 2013 from 3 to 8 PM at the Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main Street Batavia, New York 14020. A 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday September 4, 2013 at Resurrection Parish 303 East Main St. Batavia, NY 14020. Interment will be in North Pembroke Cemetery.
