Marguerite Ayala, 74 of Batavia, NY. Died October 25, 2010 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. Born June 14, 1936 in Glade Spring, VA. She is daughter of the late Rea (Louise Reddix) Austin. Mrs. Ayala worked for years at Tenny Laundry in Batavia. She attended the Salvation Army. Mrs. Ayala enjoyed gardening and loved taking care of her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by brothers Donald and Sydney Austin; sisters Virginia Reddix; Doris Benjamin; Beatrice Johnson; Frances Kauland; Gladys Graves and Omega Hounshell. 
 
She is survived by her husband Pedro Ayala of Batavia; sons Victor (Yvonne) Ayala of GA; Peter Ayala of Batavia; daughters Vanessa (Earnest) Fullwood of PA; Margarite (William) Vascianne of N. Chili; Debra Ayala of GA; Diane Ayala of Buffalo; Anita Cunningham of Batavia; Donna (Henry) Rolle of Batavia; brother Rea Austin of Rochester; sisters Agnes Austin of Batavia; Eva Calisto of Batavia; Rosetta Hickman of Batavia; 32 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews also survive. 
 
Friends may call on Friday October 29, 2010 from 3 to 7 PM at the Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 W. Main St. Batavia, NY 14020. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday October 30, 2010 at New Hope Ministries 8052 Bank St. Rd. Batavia, NY 14020. Interment will take place at Grand View Cemetery in Batavia.
