Very good poll today Howard.
Today's Poll: Would you accept a federal tax increase if there was significant spending reductions?

I would take a 2% tax increase on every dollar earned, for every dollar cut from the budget.
Mike you might want to rethink that statement, if they only cut $100 then you would pay 100% in taxes. That might not be a nice thing (unless you have a stash to live off of somewhere) LOL
(edit) Ooops, monday math is never good.... I meant if they cut $50 (goes to get first cup of coffee)
Should have added an option "Yes - but significant spending reductions are not required, just intelligent ones".
Damn Tim give a bro a warning before dropping a joke like that. I cant believe you implied Govt and intelligence in the same sentence.
I would accept a tax increase only if more people were made to pay federal tax..Why should half the country pay federal tax and the other half have pay nothing..Do away with the whole tax system..Just have a federal consumption tax..That way we all pay..You spend you pay..You save you don't pay..
Are you saying I have a choice whether or not to accept it?
yeah sure. its called creative tax return!?
LMAO, Tim that is awesome. However, I am not sure if that is possible, meaning the government using intelligence? Common sense and government way of thinking, can't co-exist.
