Today's Poll: Who will win the Super Bowl?

By Howard B. Owens

Cheaters should never win, but unfortunately the NFL has questionable standards. I’m going with the Seattle because the Patriots have flaccid footballs.

Neither team will be able to use their own balls for the Super Bowl, not that it would make any difference now... air pressure monitoring will no doubt be high priority. Anyhow, since my favorite team got close but didn't make it... I have to root for what-ever team plays against New England.

Seattle's defense is hard hitting and pretty darned good at causing fumbles. If any of you haven't heard anything about that subject yet check out the link below for some "interesting" statistics. I'd fall right out of my chair laughing if they end up losing because of fumbles... and I can guarantee all the down votes coming at me will be from Cheatriot fans.

You're right, C.M.
GoDaddy already won, and their lost-puppy/sold-puppy ad probably won't even run.
Average people have little need for GoDaddy, and (most) didn't like their ad, but companies hire ad-makers with imagination, and, GoDaddy has that.

If Seattle has not scored any points through the 3rd quarter, like they did against Green Bay, they will have a hell of a time coming back. Like them or hate them, the Patriots will score more than 16 points through 3 quarters. Seattle has to pressure Brady, stop the run and cover Gronk. Can't do it all, Seattle's offense has to score early and then keep up, they are capable. I'm hoping for a Seattle victory. Need a big day from Marshawn. I believe if they can stay close, they have a shot at winning.

I meant Seattle vs. Green Bay in my post above, not Denver! I know little to nothing about the game, to tell you the truth. But an exciting playoff game can be a thing of beauty.

I'm wondering: this year, Super Bowl or Stupor Bowl?

Scott. You just THINK you know little to nothing about the game.

Up until a couple years ago, I thought the Super Bowl was Krypto's doggie dish.

I'm with C.M., the advertisers will win. I will DVR the game while watching the Golf Tournament then come back to fast forward through the game and watch the commercials.
