Today's Poll: Was Jimmy Carter a good president?

He was a good man, but not a good President. He tried to do everything himself and did not delegate authority to others. He should have surrounded himself with experts in their fields and taken a lead on their advise.

I have to agree with Tom. He is a good man - the best man whose been President in my lifetime by far - but he did not perform the duties of President particularly well.
