Today's Poll: Should U.S. supply arms to Ukraine military?

By Howard B. Owens

I'm a little tired of being fleeced for taxes that are used to arm a group of rebels or insurgents, just to have them used against us sometime in the future.

Apparently the United States does not have enough blood on it's hands from all the killing it does in the name of "national security", now it wants to get involved in somebody else's conflict... This country will never learn to mind it's own business.
Not one firearm leaves this country unless it meets all the criteria of the NY SAFE ACT.........................

David, imagine what would have happened had France not supported the rebels with arms, supplies, and troops.

The United States of America, might still be just another British colony.

Raymond, you say that like being a British Colony is a bad thing.... maybe the rest of the world wouldn't hate the United States if we were in fact British and lived the way they do.
Look out here comes Uncle Sam.... killing everyone in his way.
I've been around for over 50 years and the U.S. has been killing people the entire time. I'm sick of it. I am ashamed of it. You can label me, call me what you wish, I firmly believe that Killing people because you don't like their lifestyle is Wrong.
The U.S. is so hell bent on killing that it again wants to arm others so they can do it.
I was being sarcastic about the SAFE-ACT.

David, it could be much worse, we could be like many other countries whose people
kill each other, and have been doing so far longer than our nation has even existed.
They will continue to do so with or without our weapons, I prefer without.
I agree with Doug, we armed and financed bin laden when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan, look at how that turned out.

Okay then..I'm tired of paying to arm the rest of the world, especially when I have a government trying to disarm me. Yes, they are.

Iran Contra, Fast and Furious, etc. It's pathetic, and I'm paying for it against my will.

(2012) The State Department’s Military Assistance Report on June 8 stated that it approved $44.28 billion in arms shipments to 173 nations in the last fiscal year, including some that struggled with human rights problems. These nations include the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Israel, Djibouti, Honduras, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
