Today's Poll: Is it too soon to be putting up Christmas decorations?

Since this is a straight up and down poll - either yes or no - I agree with Tammy. Yes, put them up while the weather is warm, but don't actually activate the display until after Thanksgiving.

Yes, it is way to early to be putting up decorations for Christmas. Thanksgiving hasn't even been properly celebrated and people already have lights and lawn ornaments and inflatable elf and reindeer up. It is a bit ridiculous.

I just leave them up year round like every good Austin slacker does. I use red white a blue bulbs and I plug them in on Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Flag Day, Veterans Day, Labor Day, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, my Birthday, my kid's Birthdays, my wife's Birthday, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I'm a conservative as in, I like to conserve my energy. I may go solar next year if Obama wins reelection like God wants him to.

Because I believe in Republican austerity, Christmas is cancelled for this year. Curse you Obama.
Tell your mama I'm PrObama 2012, despite snooty Newty and the rooty tootie fresh and fruity rest of the multipack. And I'm a Mormon.

"Jehovah’s Witnesses are not allowed to celebrate Christmas, birthdays, Easter, Thanksgiving, or any other holidays, claiming they all have pagan roots."
They got that part right, the rest is total bullshit. And I'm a Mormon.

Christmas is the prettiest commercial holiday of the year. My lights are up and on and I'm working on the inside right now! Thanksgiving is just another eating holiday for family. We celebrate both with the same Holiday decorations and it's gorgeous.

George....which group is it, that don't have sex standing up, because they are afraid people will think they are dancing?

And....do you come with some sort of manual?

Joke from my days at a Nazarene college: Q: "How come Nazarenes never have sex?" A: "Because it might lead to dancing."
