Agreed. It's been a regret of mine that I never got my Eagle. Only a few merit badges and a service project away. The trouble was, I turned 16 and got a drivers license.

Even so, Jason - - the years you DID spend in scouting taught you things that you would NOT have learned otherwise. Being a scout is like being a Marine - - once a Boy Scout, ALWAYS a Boy Scout - - - and that's a WONDERFUL thing.
It's a great program.
Thanks Irene, you have just made me feel doubly wonderful.... And you are so correct, they are both something that you never loose.
Mark - - I take it from what you said, that you were a Boy Scout, AND a Marine - - it's GREAT that you were a scout - - but even more - - -THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY !!!!!!
Congratulations to both of them!!!! What a great accomplishment!!
I know Jacob personally and he is a fine young man. He has good values that he may have learned in the scouts or from his family. He is a fine example of what it is to be a scout. He will go far in life.

Scouting is one of the BEST THINGS that parents can get their kids involved in - - congratulations to Jacob and Gabe !!!!!!!
