Again, other than diming headlight, which I see almost daily, and probably have been guilty of myself, I see no mention of why these folks were stopped to begin with. What was the probable cause??? This is not Kabul, we are a country of laws. Law enforcement is not exempt of that. Maybe the reporting was not complete, I do not know. But I will forever get after these agencies to properly enforce our laws, and probable cause is part of that.

OH MY GOD. Thanks you so much for taking that weed and firework toting criminal off the streets! You can buy a shotgun and ammo at a dicks, but god forbid you have some fireworks! You can get piss drunk and drive your car around town, but you better not have any marijuana! This state is heavily populated with hypocrites and morons. The future is bleak.

Le Roy cops will get you. I got a ticket there for unregistered bike when I first started riding. I thought that the registration lasted 2 years like any other vehicle..boy was I surprised to find out it expires every April 30th. I explained the situation to the officer but he gave me the ticket anyway. I registered it the next day and the judge still fined me $90 even though I proved it was registered immediately.

If you commit an infraction, not dimming your headlights to oncoming traffic, failing to signal, lights not working..etc..you can be pulled over. That's pretty simple. When the cop pulls you over and smells alcohol or sees your bloodshot eyes, that's probable cause to investigate a possible DUI. If you don't want a DUI, don't drive drunk!

Why the hell does it matter why they were pulled over? Do you want drunk people driving around putting everyone in danger? As far as marijuana and fire works go... they are illegal. Follow the laws and don't be stupid. It's that simple.
