Deputy pursues motorcyclist into Wyoming County

By Howard B. Owens

A deputy is in pursuit of a motorcycle rider speeding southbound on Route 77 from Darien into Wyoming County.

The rider, on a small "crotch rocket" style bike, is allegedly going in excess of 100 mph, and the pursuit has just turned onto eastbound on Church Road.

The male rider is wearing a black jacket.

UPDATE 5:41 p.m.: The deputy backed off the pursuit and eventually lost sight of the motorcycle, but an Attica PD patrol is now behind the motorcycle southbound on Route 98.

Yeah, he turned off church onto attica road. Its a blue crotch rocket. You wouldnt believe how many times i have wanted to call the police on him. He drives down my street everyday like a jerk. Its these types of people who give other crotch rocket owners a BAD name. I almost hit him one day when he was trying to pass a car on a solid line.

My Parents live off church road, have seen this turkey myself, one tiome he passed me at blazing speed on a curve no less. This is the first time though I have ever picked up law enforcement chasing him on the scanner though.

The problem there is the roads he takes criss cross county lines, this guy needs to get hauled in before he kills someone or himself.

He just went passed my house and passed a pick up.. he also had a passenger on back this time.. Not safe at all.. I may follow him one of these days and see where he stops then call the police. Its getting out of hand, i have small children at my house and i know my neighbors have small children and pets, its just too dangerous for someone innocent to get hurt because he wants to act like an a**hole.

Be careful Bob, if he won't stop for Law enforcement he may also not take kindly to anyone else following him, not worth you getting hurt or worse.

Probably better to document his transit times past your house and provide law enforcement with that a posible time pattern,

I do agree this guy is dangerous for you and your nieghbors

You're right. It isnt my place to try to follow him because then I would be a danger not only to myself but others. I dont want to speed so there is no way i could follow him anyway.
