Kid Rock bus driver not drinking Tuesday night, Buffalo attorney says

By Howard B. Owens

The driver working with the Kid Rock tour when it came through Darien Lake hadn't been drinking the night he was arrested for alleged DWI, according to a Buffalo attorney contacted by Buffalo TV station.

Thomas J. Eoannou has reportedly been retained by Joseph Devlin, the 37-year-old Florida man accused of driving a Kid Rock tour bus while intoxicated on Tuesday night.

Eoannou reportedly told WBKW that his client has a clean record.

WBTA reported Thursday that Devlin's BAC was allegedly twice the legal limit.

Kid Rock's web site says Devlin wasn't directly employed by the tour and he has been fired from his job.

Devlin is out of jail after posting $10,000 bail.

As with most criminal cases this defendant has plead not-guilty, it is now up to prosecution to prove his guilt. I assume that a BAC was obtained because the reports state that his BAC was "twice the legal limit" (these has to be evidence for this statement). Mr. Devlin's attorney, Mr. Eoannou, is only doing his job.

here's another thought....the attorney said his client wasn't drinking "the night" he was arrested....perhaps he was drinking all day and was still drunk!!
Just a thought! LOL

I was thinking it was residual from his day off before the concert. A half gallon of Jack Daniels and it takes about 60 hours before you are legal again. Don't ask me how I know, but yes, I have a Cowboy Hat and a Muscle Shirt. Jack Daniels done gimme the belt buckle for free.

What George said was something I started thinking about today. I personally don't have a CDL, but those I do know that have one are extremely careful and conservative when it comes to alcohol. I honestly doubt this guy knew he was still a little buzzed.
