Military and Veteran Suicide is still a major concern. The VA'S motto this year it "IT MATTERS", and it does. Not only does it matter but the servicemen, and servicewomen and veterans matter. Without their willingness to sacrifice being away from their family and friends, we would not be free. Let's help free them of the pain and suffering and let them know know it matters, they matter.

We want to encourage any Veteran who is having difficulty with the following to get help: Suicide, Depression, Traumatic Brain Injury, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Substance Abuse, Domestic Violence.

A Military Suicide Awareness Event will take place at the Veness-Strollo VFW Post #1602 at 25 Edward St. Batavia, NY 14020. We will have a limited supply of "It Matters" pins available for $1.00. The proceeds go to enrich the lives of America's Veterans by connecting them to their community through physical and social activity. We will also be serving coffee and dessert while supplies last.

Hope to see you there!
