National Library Week “The Library is the Heart of Every Community” Make and Take Craft for Children

Place: The Children’s Room of Richmond Memorial Library, 19 Ross St., Batavia.

Date & Time: April 2 – 14 during regular library hours. The library is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Materials will be available for children to decorate card stock hearts with a multitude of different materials such as stickers, beads, sequins, felt and fabric pieces. Crayons, markers, and colored pencils will also be made available.

Children will be asked to let the library display their heart creations during National Library Week, April 9 – 14. After April 16, children may take their creations home.
