Downtown business merchants are inviting shoppers to a “Stroll through the Village” as part of the village’s Winterfest on Dec. 3.
The businesses on Main, Bank and Mill streets, along with the Moose Family Center on Bank Street, will offer full-card business bingo to be entered to win prizes. Participants must visit all business and receive a stamp from each one, then turn in their card by 3 p.m. at the holiday bazaar. Cards will be available at all businesses.
The Stroll runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Community Holiday Bazaar at the Moose Family Center is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., is raising money and food donations for the LCCP, the backpack fund, and the Le Roy food pantry. All non perishable or canned goods donated receives one Chinese raffle ticket,which are also available for $1 each or three for $2. Gift wrapping available. The LCCP will host a bake sale at the bazaar.
Santa Claus due to stop at the Moose Center at 1 p.m.
Other activities include an inflatable playground from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the firehall, and Woodward Memorial Library on Wolcott Street will have the The Polare Express movie at 10:15 with popcorn, Village Harpers from 3-3:30 and a child craft to take home (while supplies last).
Cafe Le Roy will be offering a scoop of ice cream to everyone. Town of Le Roy is sponsoring a child craft/activity and restrooms.
