We have a new Tuesday evening build for those who are unable to help out during the day and for those who have Saturdays full!!
We meet every Tuesday evening from 5p.m.- 8 p.m. right now at the Habitat Center 230 Ellicott St. We need people to paint, tile, and organize and price items.( The old Christinas Building). This will be the home to our new RESTORE ( which will be open to the public soon!)
We are looking for volunteers who can committ one time or continuous. All skill levels are needed. No experience neccessary. We have on site leaders to train you and guide you every step of the way!

Richmond Memorial Library, 19 Ross St., Batavia is presenting “Dig into Reading,” a Summer Reading Club for Adults from June 24 through August 9. Participants are encouraged to read through the summer, and a small gift is awarded for finishing six books. In addition, participants receive entry forms for a chance to win a variety of “groundbreaking” grand prizes, including gift certificates to the library’s café and to Present Tense Books, an eReader and other items. Adults may sign up at any time in the library until July 26.
Other library events related to “Dig into Reading” include “Dig into Your Roots” Genealogy Classes during July and early August, a special showing of the movie “The Hobbit” on July 18 and a poetry contest. July 20th from 11 am to 1 pm free groceries will be distributed to anyone who comes,in the Mill Street parking lot behind the Post Office in LeRoy, there is no wage requirement. Just register and get your food.

Richmond Memorial Library, 19 Ross St., Batavia is presenting a “Mine” for Poetry Contest for adults in the "Dig into Reading" Summer Reading Club (free and easy to join). Dig into a page of text — from a book, a magazine, or a newspaper (Please make a copy, if it is not yours!). Find words to make a poem...and eliminate the rest as artistically as possible. Samples are available at the library. Entries are due at the library by Friday, July 19 at 5 p.m. and prizes will be awarded.
