Join Kate Reigel at Richmond Memorial Library, 19 Ross St., Batavia on Thursday, November 29 at 6:00 p.m. to learn how to create a centerpiece with fresh greens, a candle, and ornamental picks. Registration is required, and $12 is due at the time of registration. Class size is limited. Participants need to bring pruners or scissors. The Le Roy Main Street Committee will sponsor a presentation by architect Rick Hauser on a proposal to purchase the Wiss Hotel from the village. The plans include several commercial facilities and five residential apartments at the site. The presentation will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at the Village Hall. The public is invited. The Village Hall is located at 3 W. Main St.
