I need help with bills and stuff so my wife called around and got the run around, They were mostly christen churches too telling my wife things like'

Oh there's people in our church that need help too or The Pastor will have too call you back and they never do and this is every church we have called even the Salvation Army we got the run around and I think this is Bull Sh$$, Is it because I have never been on welfare and worked all my life so these places figure I can go right out and find a job??????????????????????????????? It isn't like I do this all the time and as a matter of fact I have never done this

Oh well I just don't trust church's anymore and this is a good example for my kids to see too. I think 99.9% of church's have turned into a club house for members only benefits.

World Economy what do you think will happen?

Today I went to Kwik Fill at the corner of Jackson st and Ellicott to get some smokes man I hate when I have to go in there for various reasons and now I can add this one to the list.

I asked if I could get a pack of cigarettes and pay for them with my 5$ rolled dimes

NOPE with an attitude is all I got. I kept my cool and left

Attitude in that place is common and I would like to know is the legal for them to not take the dimes as money? I would go to a different store but I'm picky and the brand of cigs and yes I know I should quit. I never seen any sign that says "your rolled money is worth nothing to us"

Wow this burns my hide and like I said I wish I never ever had to goto that store... If you want to call it THAT.

The rich get richer and the poor get poorer when will it ever end? I mean it is getting harder and harder to make ends meet ya try and work a full time job like I have for the past 15 years and it adds up to nothing but the refrigerate isn't as full as it used to be. Buying food is a joke even going to the dollar stores don't seem to be a bargain anymore and I have tried to find a second joke but never get any calls maybe thats a good thing because I would never have time to spend with the wife and kids if I did and paying the bills NOW there is a sad story in it self.

Seems like the American dream for people that live from check to check like me is GONE.

Now the land lord gets on my case for being later and later on the rent, Being a father of 3 with a wife is just pain getting hard to live. When will it ever get better like politicians keep saying :(

The Batavian needs updating:

As a web site & server operator I would like to say the main page here is great for  announcing local news and sports and stuff like that but a forum base would be great for the rest of it like breaking up topics into different sections for discussion about the muck dogs for one maybe another section for different parts of Batavia General Discussion for us locals instead of clogging up the main page with replies to posts because there is so many members posting it is getting hard to find things someone might email me about .

Don't get me wrong this site is great but it could use a bigger interface like a message board forum.

Here is a video I took (quality isn't good) of what looks like a funnel cloud the date I didn't recored but I'm guessing it was about 5 years ago in the summer and there was no tornado warnings for Genesee county just thunder storm warnings.

Here is another  video from about 7 or 8 years ago looking out my back yard in Batavia in the summer at night just before a thunder storm. There was no thunder so I took out the audio and I also used the camcorders night vision to enhance the look

I love to catch lighting on tape so if I get any more I'll post them for the weather buff here in Batavia on the www.thebatavian.com

I made a video of whats called a "Foxhole radio" takes no batteries info found on youtube if you notice at the end the radio station is WBTA. Pretty cool.
