Pembroke School Lunches
My name is Cameron Coles, I go to Pembroke High School, and I am in 11th grade. The other day (October 28th) I was eating lunch and I found a peice of plastic wrap in my soup. It was about half an inch wide, and 2 to 3 inches long. I believe this poses a choking hazard and could have also had countless bad bacteria on it, some of which may have caused someone to get H1N1. I think this issue needs to be adressed, and I really want to know what people think about it. My friend has a picture of it on his cell phone and I will try to get it to post it tomorrow. I did not however save the peice of plastic wrap, which I probably should have done maybe. Feedback would be wonderful.
The Digital Media Arts Festival at BOCES
Hello. My name is Cameron Coles, I recently blogged about the video I made for The Digital Media Arts Festival at BOCES. I am going to post it on here from Youtube tomorrow so that everyone can see that my video could barely be called "disturbing". Either that or I am misunderstand what the word "disturbing" means.
The Digital Media Arts Festival at BOCES
Hey guys. My name is Cameron Coles, and I just thought I'd post a blog about what happened to me today. I am in a Studio Arts class at Pembroke Jr/Sr High School (I am a sophmore) and I was told that the stop motion animation video -which I put a large amount of effort into making- was almost disqualified from the Digital Media Arts Festival because they said it was "disturbing". The reason they gave for this was that the screen goes red during parts of it and they interpreted it as blood. I think that the judges at the Digital Media Arts Festival are a little over-sevsitive about things when they look at videos for the Festival. My reason for thinking that is they actually did disquaulify another video for "questionable material" which turned out to be bareley questionable at all. I think this needs to be looked into.
