Today's Poll: Should the City revisit the ambulance question and have another vote?

Due to the Taylor law, it would be difficult at best to accomplish a volunteer fire dep't. In my opinion, a better approach would be to do a county wide fire service run by the county. This would save millions in equipment costs and provide better fire coverage for the entire county.

Pete, would you envision the county taxing the city residents for this service? If we are going to do that, then make the entire county one big city, like they do in California. Perhaps, then, all residents would benefit from quality services and - quite possibly - a lower tax bill. Just saying.
