Today's Poll: Do you think your vote today will lead to positive change in New York?

I have purposely avoided using the 'C-word' -as I call it- throughout my campaign. ...Not that I support partisanship and its result: governmental dysfunction; I have too much respect for voters to give lip service to such a maligned word. Anyone who waves such a banner had better have ideas and a game plan for living up to it.

I have established my game plan by pledging an open door to bridge the partisan abyss dividing the two parties and any other gaps interrupting progress from oblivion.

I have founded my economic recovery plans on strengthening markets for existing businesses- not throwing money at outsiders who will exploit the advantage while displacing jobs, businesses and siphon revenue beyond our borders.

I have presented my ideas for relieving the tax burden on both families and businesses- abandoning the punitive property tax-base. On the same token I have outlined a plan to abandon sales tax which not only burdens consumers, but drives internet sales that siphon revenue out of state.

I will strive to curtail the Albany Hog Trough that squeezes out the deserving and caters to the fat-laden. Put the OBAs back in the budget and take their credit cards away!

This election offers an opportunity to turn our backs on status quo partisanship and embark on a new paradigm: outcome based decision-making. Let's not pass the possibility by! Keep our money in-state, within budget and restore our communities.

Yes introverting is the answer to all our problems Chris.

Thank god you have no prayer. A VAT tax is going to do nothing but create more issues and there is no way that in this state such a thing would replace any tax, it would be an addition.
