I won a coupon for Delevan's. We went to this establishment for the first time last Friday night with my Batavian coupon in hand. It was such a treat! The atmosphere was fantastic -- walls were decorated with local history and artwork by local artists. The food was fantastic! I highly recommend the stuffed haddock. My mother-in-law loved it, too -- Friday night is our special night out with her. We will be regulars after experiencing this establishment for the first time.
I actually called Howard to let him know how much I enjoyed it and to thank him for the "deals of the day". Howard has hit on a local theme that we can all find common ground on -- no political battles here -- I hope any way.
We are so fortunate in Genesee County. We have some of the best restaurants, running the gambit from casual to fine dining -- and there is no comparison between our local restaurants and the chains. I have made a conscientious effort to spend my dollars at locally owned businesses as much as possible. It's a fun challenge and reviews like Lori Ann's can be a great motivator to "buy local".
