Whats up w/ Margarita's Mexican Restaurant? They seem that can't get an order right since they opened back up, and when you try to correct them to get your "value of the day" they just smile and nod they don't understand. Wished I bought Delevan's instead!

I hear ya. I love that place and will still go from time to time, but the language barrier is riduculous. I have had my share of communication problems there as well, you are NOT alone. :(

Doesn't bother me.

In fact, in California, if I ever went into a Mexican restaurant and everybody spoke perfect English, I wouldn't go back.

Not because I demanded only Spanish speakers in my Mexican restaurants, but inevitably, where English is mainly spoken, the food would be lousy.

I've never had a problem. There is quite a few of the workers that understand exactly what you are saying, it mainly has to do with how you talk to them.

LOL Howard, so if I walk into a mexican restaurant and the staff is as white as me and all speak the kings english, then chances are I wont be receiving a genuine, authentic mexican dining experience? :)

That's been my experience.

Obviously, it's possible for an Anglo owner and staff to make an outstanding Mexican meal, but I haven't found it yet.
