Man accused of injuring deputy during alleged escape from arrest

By Howard B. Owens

A Batavia man, who has allegedly had at least one previous confrontation with cops, is in jail tonight after reportedly pushing a Sheriff's deputy down a flight of stairs and escaping an attempt by the deputy to arrest him on a bench warrant.

Ryan L. Krupp, 24, of 13 Pringle Ave., is charged with assault in the second degree and escape in the second degree.

Krupp allegedly charged Deputy Patrick Reeves and shoved Reeves as the deputy attempted to arrest him at his residence yesterday at 10:19 p.m.. Reeves was treated and released at UMMC for an ankle injury.

Today, Krupp was spotted entering the Bank of Castile branch on East Main Street. He was apprehended inside the bank at 11:43 a.m..

Details on what led to the bench warrant issued by Judge Robert Noonan were not released, but Krupp was arrested in May 2008 for allegedly stealing prescription drugs from his girlfriend. At the time of his arrest, Krupp allegedly got "belligerent with police."

In April of this year, Krupp was arrested again, this time accused of trying to cash a forged check at a local bank.

Krupp was jailed today without bail.

"Wife beater" is connotatively offensive enough, but that is the correct common slang term for that style t-shirt.

Tank Top is the proper term . Amanda , I don't doubt that some the police accounts of the arrest are wrong . Probably to cover the officer's but for letting him smoke a cig. when he had the chance to apprehend him . The fact of the matter is that he fled from the arrest and an officer was hurt in the attempt to capturehim for arrest .Also the police were there for a reason .How dumb is Ryan , did he think they were going to for get about him .And then to walk in plain site right into a bank .He should have went south where the tank tops are refered to wife beaters .

Amanda, thanks for clearing everything up. You made it all very understandable........NOT. What in the world are you babbling on and on about? And before you answer, ask yourself this....WHO THE PHUCK CARES?? Exactly, no one. Ryan sounds fairly unintelligent, and attracts women of equal caliber.

Amanda you say that he wasn't arrested for stealing from you. The story didn't mention you at all. The pill thing happened a year and a half ago. "Krupp was arrested in May 2008 for allegedly stealing prescription drugs from his girlfriend."
Could it be that you guys weren't together then? Maybe you're not the girlfriend they are referring to?

I'm so sick and tired of the girlfriends of these guys coming online to tell everyone.. with horrid grammar and spelling ... how wrong everyone is about her "winner" boyfriend who was arrested for something they did and sitting in jail.

Ummm yeah he's got a rap sheet as long as your arm
but he's "misunderstood".
He's really a "nice guy"
and the police are picking on him...because obviously they had nothing better to do then harass him. LOL

As far as I can tell your recounting of the events, your story sounds a little fishy to me. Maybe it's true and maybe it's bunk.
I'm betting on the bunk.
There is an old saying that "You're known by the company you keep." Which means you can tell your side of the story and it's pretty much discounted because you're associated with someone who is a low life and has no respect for the law.

and to settle the tank top... wife beater... T shirt question its technically an A Shirt. I have also heard them referred to as wife beaters and tank tops so I guess everyone would be right. LOL

I think someone just got a hold of my password, I dont even know the guy that this story is about and I am already happily married, have been since May 2006, so how can this guy be my fiance? Plus I live at 8 Masse place, not on pringle ave.
Maybe I accidently saved my password on another computer, and someone used it, but I did not type that comment, therefore I took it off.

Chris, Amanda has said before that she lives on Masse Place (I believe in the context of the Masse Gateway Project, if memory serves).

Also, the "hacked" comment and her latest comment come from two different IP addresses, which lends some credibility to Amanda's claim (sorry, Amanda, your other comments were quite a ways back, so I wasn't able to check the IP address of those old comments against the "hacked" comment).

Amanda, you should change your password right now and change it to something that is a mixture of letters, numbers and at least one punctuation mark. Then make sure nobody else can access your computer or share your password.
