Howard,
I created a tastful article about Alex G. You said I was welcome to so I did. Just wondering how to get it posted. I created a user name and have calmed myself down after reading all the snidly comments from some.
What a world.....

Hi Howard,
This is an sad link http://www.wmur.com/cnn-news/18693445/detail.html (also on cnn.com US News) ED posted 4 months back the article "Right Time. Right Place. The Wagon Teamser!" unfortunately Mr. Skelding's trailer was hit by a semi and 2 of the 3 horses were killed and he is in serious condition. Since there was a small connection to Batavia I thought you may want to share - send a few thoughts and prayers his way.
Anyways...
Thanks! The the website!
Jessica

Where is all the local high school sports coverage? Baseball, softball etc....Why is there no coverage of this on the Batavian? No hilly, no coverage? That's what it looks like to me.

Michael, in February, the was a change in my status with GateHouse Media, which meant a change for Hilly as well. Currently, I'm sole owner of The Batavian and revenue is not yet sufficient to rehire Hilly.

I think Dan operates a very good small town radio station (and I think there is no better kind of radio station these days to excel at running). I'm very impressed with his knowledge of all facets of his business. I couldn't do it nearly as well as he does.

Radio and the web are very different, so any comparison wouldn't really be fair.

Howard, I now have DTV!! It is working pretty good suprizingly. I have 2,4,49,51,Lifetime, Religious Music channel, old movies channel, weather, ect., but no 13, or 10, the Rochester channels I like. I'm sure Ill work it out. The picture is a hell of alot better than antenna, thats for sure. Leaving for the Adirondacks soon, have a great weekend!!

Karen,
I get the rochester stations pretty well. You may need to just adjust your antenna, also a signal amplifier can help as well.

I'm using the old style rooftop antenna, I don't know if the new digital ones (what you have) are as directionally dependent as mine. Either way an amplifier will help.

Howard whats going on, on the railroad tracks. Mike saw 4 State police, driving at a high speed, crossing Rt. 33 on 7 Springs Rd. They were heading twards Main St. When he crossed the railroad bridge on Main St, he saw flashing lights, a train, and cars.
