Alexander couple accused of sex act in public view

By Howard B. Owens

An Alexander couple were arrested today for allegedly engaging in a sex act in a public place.

The pair was reported to the Sheriff's Office by security personnel with a business on Veteran's Memorial Drive after they were allegedly witnessed engaged in sexual activity at 4:11 p.m.

Charged with public lewdness were Kelly Anne Brown, 34, and Karl James Hulshoff, 34, both of Broadway Road in Alexander.

Brown and Hulshoff were allegedly engaged in a sex act in a parked car in the vicinity of 4180 Veterans Memorial Drive.

They were arrested by Deputy James Diehl and released on an appearance ticket.

I hope neither one is married or it's you know what again. Did the rent a cop actually see a sex act taking place or just a woman having a face down nap, in a man's lap? Why weren't the windows fogged up, or were they?

"engaged in a sex act in a parked car"
Yes, that was my assumption, unless there was a glory hole somewhere. They (the cops) never give all of the facts so my mind is sometimes forced to fill in the blanks. I would like to think they are innocent until proven guilty, and I believe guilt will be hard to prove in this case.

Hey Howard I think you may have the Deputy's name incorrect. Last I knew it was Jason Saile, there is a Deputy Diehl but that isn't his first name.

There is a Sheriff James Diehl, I am certain of that. He is a great kid and a true professional. Im sure he wishes someone else could have responded to this call.
