Well, I don't get what that was for
But since we're on that now
Where is the east lawn? It must be magnificent with such an official name
Is this the patch of grass to the east?

It will make mowing seem an aristocratic thing to do


I don't know how one builds snowmen inside a warm home without snow outside unless it's trucked in ..to a large freezer
or will the the snow be made of styrofoam balls
Just going to have to tell me cause I'm out of guesses here. Make me look foolish.

If there isn't any snow outside why not just postpone the building of snowmen till there is?
Maybe it's symbolic of winter for the joyous new year or whatever but
if there isn't any snow and you'll make em out of foam why not just make some out of foam in advance and then hold the contest another day so the event doesn't get cheapened?

Is this an event for kids or adults? Kids don't care about seeing snowmen on the day before January 1st
Kids love to play in the snow
Adults the ones participating? I still think snow is the way to go there, too.

Get a life. Why don't you just go to the HLOM and see. You seem to have issues. Just go and see if this idea of a snowman being built inside upsets you so much.

Once again Laz has proven that only some opinions are worth reading. I am grateful that I can scroll through some of the comments without really caring what they say. Funny how that works. The time, energy, and effort spent on half assed opinion could always be directed elsewhere....somewhere useful? Im sure he'll reply with 7 paragraphs... (and i use that term loosely).

You see, if you take snow inside to make a snowman, it will make everyone sad and very frustrated

If you build a snowman outside with no snow and only mud, you have a mudman and not a snowman. If you try to build a snowman in a blizzard, you will develop frostbite and the snow probably won't pack very well anyway.

And please, if you are more of a scrooge or loved ones have referred to you as the grinch, perhaps you should stay away from the event - you may have too much fun and ruin your reputation!

For the record, the east lawn is the area between the Museum and the Walnut Street foot bridge. It is technically called Paolo Busti Park, but I guess that would have started a whole other discussion.
