Any word on the condition of this person? Or who it was? Also just to clarify something, it's a driver on the standard bread horses and a jockey on the Thoroughbred horses.

come on howard that wasnt directed at anyone in particular just a light hearted joke about the observation that jockeys or "drivers" are short. i dont think that should offend anyone. maybe that would make someone giggle and bring a little joy in their life for a bit

What are you talking about Nick? I don't see Howard reacting in any way at all other than to say that he'd check with the Downs about how the condition of the person was.

Nick, a FYI
The person steering the horse in harness racing is called a driver, not a jockey. There are no weight or gender restrictions in harness racing.

my post was to howard about a joke he must have found offensive about the stereotype that jockeys are short. he took it down i thought some people would have a laugh maybe even some drivers. no harm intended at all it wasnt mean spirited it was rather clever i think, i just thought it would bring some joy that this world is in dire need of.
